The Galaxy Note is supposedly the series where Samsung pours all their latest smartphone techs making it a “must-buy” phone for all tech-savvy. Apparently, we can’t imagine how will the features of the Note 9 since they’ve released the already spectacular Galaxy S9 and S9+ earlier this year.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is well underway, but the question is when it will be announced. Samsung’s timing usually varies based on how delayed the device is. Last year’s Samsung Unpacked happened in late August, and we’re probably going to see this year’s event a bit earlier.
The latest rumors are that the announcement of Samsung’s latest Note device will be on August 9. The announcement will take place at Samsung Unpacked in New York and the device may even launch before the end of August.

Android P 9.0 beta is now no longer exclusive to Google’s Pixel devices as the Google has opened up a beta program for its latest flavor of Android and has invited a bunch of OEMs to participate. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has already received the Android 8.0 Oreo update across three of the four major carriers in the United States. T-Mobile has been the odd man out, until today’s announcement.
The carrier has now announced that the Oreo update for the Galaxy Note 8 has been approved. The rollout should begin Sunday. T-Mobile’s product manager Des had to specify that this is not an April Fools’ joke, which is definitely appreciated.

In early February, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ started receiving the update to Android 8.0 Oreo, and now another one of Samsung’s flagship smartphones is getting on the fun.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 is next in line to get the Android 8.0 update. The update now is rolling out to handsets in France, and it brings the software version up to N950FXXU3CRC1. The new software also includes the March 2018 Android security update.
The Oreo update adds features like autofill for forms, picture-in-picture support, and notification dots on app icons.
