MIT announces leadership of its Quest for Intelligence

Antonio Torralba has been named the inaugural director of the MIT Quest for Intelligence, effective immediately, Provost Martin Schmidt announced today in an email to the MIT community.

T-Mobile announces upcoming Oreo update for Samsung Galaxy Note 8

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has already received the Android 8.0 Oreo update across three of the four major carriers in the United States. T-Mobile has been the odd man out, until today’s announcement.

The carrier has now announced that the Oreo update for the Galaxy Note 8 has been approved. The rollout should begin Sunday. T-Mobile’s product manager Des had to specify that this is not an April Fools’ joke, which is definitely appreciated.

Check for updates in Settings when Sunday rolls around! If there’s nothing, give it some time as it may be a gradual rollout.
