
Major carrier Sprint put out a press release telling the public of its enthusiasm for the SPEED Act, a communications bill making its way through the United States Congress. The SPEED Act, at its core, is about shedding redundancy in environmental checks and balances for the installation of communications infrastructure. The bill, if it passes, will exponentially speed up and cheapen the permitting process, making the installation and activation of communications equipment in the United States vastly easier than it currently is.
