Microsoft Xbox One S Now Supports Amazon Prime Video in 4K and This is Why

Microsoft has made the announcement that the new Xbox One S console which was released in late 2016 will now support 4K UHD video sources (presumably also with HDR) from the Amazon Prime Instant Video app.

Users who download the Amazon app through their Xbox One S console will be free to access (depending on where in the world they live) streaming 4K movies and other programming including Amazon Original Series shows like “Bosch”, “Sneaky Pete”, and “Man in the High Castle”, the Nazi alternate history sci fi drama.
