Leaked Details of Huawei’s Upcoming P30 and P30 Pro Smartphones

We already know a lot about how the upcoming Huawei P30 and P30 Pro smartphones will look thanks to several leaked renders. However, WinFuture has shed more light on the handsets by revealing the full specs of the internals and externals.

Huawei’s newest smartphones will be at the cutting edge of mid-range smartphone performance. Superfast speeds will be delivered by the Kirin 980 chipset, which has been paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in the P30. As for the P30 Pro, the device will get a massive 8GB of RAM to appeal to power users.

Both handsets will offer solid performance speeds, whether browsing, playing games, multi-tasking, or using intensive apps like online betting services.

Huawei will release the P30 and P30 Pro early in April with sleek designs and robust specifications. Among the hardware changes customers can expect are OLED displays on board both models. On the larger and more expensive P30 Pro, there will be a curved 6.47-inch display. The smaller P30 scores a 6.1-inch screen without a curve. Both devices will have a display resolution of 2340 x 1080 (Full HD).

The design has been a big part of Huawei’s rise to become the world’s second-biggest smartphone manufacturer. The Chinese company has gained a reputation for developing among the best-looking handsets in the world. An aesthetic appeal will be a big part of the new P30s, including ultra-slim bezels and all-screen front panels. Yes, there is a notch, but this time Huawei has put the excellent 32-megapixel selfie camera in a tiny waterdrop divot that is barely noticeable.

Huawei P30 Leaks

Flipping the P30 devices, we can see Huawei has really focused on the rear camera. As one of the world’s leading smartphone camera developers, we are happy to see the Huawei P30 has a triple-camera layout on the standard P30. As for the Huawei P30 Pro, the company has thrown another lens on board for a four-camera module:

P30 Camera – The baby of the range sports a 40-megapixel main camera with an f/1.6 aperture, followed by a 20-megapixel wide-angle camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. Sadly there is no image stabilization on board, although that latter telephoto snapper will allow 5x lossless zoom.

P30 PRO Camera – The larger and higher spec P30 PRO also has a 40-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. That will give users a smoother video experience compared to the P30. A 20-MP and 8-MP camera are also on board, while a new periscope zoom lens has been added to the Pro, offering 7.8x optical zoom and 10x lossless zoom.

Huawei has a reputation for offering the best smartphone battery life available. The company achieves that by using massive power packs in its handsets, and the P30/P30 Pro is no exception. P30 customers will get a 3,650mAh cell, while the Huawei P30 Pro will boast a 4,200mAh juicer. Both smartphones will support 40W SuperCharge fast charging.

As for the launch, Huawei will hold a press event in Paris on March 26 to unveil the P30 and P30 Pro. Additionally, the company is also expected to announce a P30 Lite to also sit in the range. Once launched, expect the handsets to be available in the first week of April.
