Attack on Titan is one of the world’s biggest animated shows and has taken millions of fans by storm in recent years. Its success was bound to draw imitators, and Extinction is almost certainly one of them. The act of scaling gargantuan beasts and beheading them in spectacular style is a hallmark of Extinction’s appeal. This is a relief, as many of its other elements simply fail to impress.
