IE10 pushes past predecessor to take second place among Microsoft’s browsers

IE10 (Internet Explorer 10) jumped into second place among Microsoft’s browsers last month, pushing past IE9 through an enforced upgrade.

IE10’s user share climbed from 16.5 percent to a record 24 percent of all copies of Internet Explorer in June, according to Web measurement firm Net Applications.
